Abstract

Every medical student at the beginning of their career longs to become a professional capable of diagnosing and curing the diseases of the society in which they operate. The knowledge will allow them to understand the patient as a biopsychosocial being. There are multiple diseases that a doctor faces, in a guardroom or even in their homes, which require a good diagnosis to avoid fatal consequences. The acquisition of knowledge of basic and clinical sciences plays an important role, as well as core subjects such as Clinical Propedeutics and Medical Semiology, which represents the roots of the great tree that is medicine.Todo estudiante de medicina al iniciar la carrera anhela llegar a ser un profesional capaz de diagnosticar y curar las enfermedades de la sociedad donde se desenvuelve, los conocimientos le permitirán comprender al paciente como ser biopsicosocial. Son múltiples las enfermedades a las que se enfrenta un médico, en un cuerpo de guardia o hasta en sus hogares, las que requieren un buen diagnóstico para no acarrear consecuencias fatales. Juega un papel importante la adquisición de conocimientos de las ciencias básicas y clínicas, así como asignaturas medulares como la Propedéutica Clínica y Semiología Médica, que representa las raíces del gran árbol que es la medicina
