Cincinnati Typothetae Scrapbook : Preservation Lab Treatment Report

Abstract

This is a scrapbook of various documents from the Cincinnati Typothetae and printer’s society that existed in the late 19th century of which the compiler, Allen Collier, was a member. Items include various programs and proceedings from different events that the organization held including menus for annual dinners celebrating Ben Franklin’s birthday, programs for monthly meetings and invitations to events. Also includes various letters, forms and documents from the Cincinnati Typothetae as well as from other Typothetae societies around the country. This includes the St. Paul Typothetae, the New York Typothetae, and the Master Printer’s association of Rhode Island, etc. Additionally, there are copies of the proceedings of the proceedings of the United Typothetae of America’s fifth annual convention that was held in Cincinnati, Ohio from October 20‐23, 1891.View Catalog Record: https://cincinnatilibrary.bibliocommons.com/v2/record/S170C341170
