Abstract
This is a single signature pamphlet with two staples through the fold, though one of the staples has been lost. The pamphlet features a two‐toned (yellow and blue) cover wrapped around the textblock. The textblock paper is thick clay‐coated paper and features colorful images and graphics. This is a pictorial history of Madisonville, Ohio for the bicentennial which took place in 2009. It came to the Preservation Lab from the Public Library’s Madisonville branch, with the goal of treating the binding in order to prepare it for long‐term storage. Though the initial goal was “stabilization” the condition of the binding warrants full treatment in order to prepare the pamphlet for sewing into a clear‐front pamphlet binder.View Catalog Record: https://cincinnatilibrary.bibliocommons.com/v2/record/S170C277680
