Evaluación ambiental y turística de los recursos naturales y culturales del municipio Batabanó

Abstract

The development of tourism at the municipal level is a great alternative for the economic and social development of residents, through a new source of income that complements their work activities. For the successful development of this activity, it is necessary to carry out a tourism evaluation that leads to a complete analysis of tourism supply and demand that allows defining the potential that an area has. The objective of this research is to evaluate the natural and cultural resources present in the Batabano municipality. Depending on the research, qualitative and quantitative methods and techniques for collecting information were applied, which serve as support for the evaluation. During the work, the resources and attractions of the territory were identified and inventoried, their condition, conservation and value were analyzed in detail, and the VALPER statistical methods and the TOPSIS procedure were applied. As a final result, an evaluation of the real potential of the territory was obtained, which will contribute to greater use of its natural and cultural resources, through the implementation of tourism proposals.El desarrollo del turismo a nivel municipal es una gran alternativa para el desarrollo económico y social de los pobladores, a través de una nueva fuente de ingresos que complementa a sus actividades de trabajo. Para el desarrollo exitoso de esta actividad es necesario realizar la evaluación turística que conlleva a un análisis completo de la oferta y la demanda turística que permite definir el potencial que tiene una zona. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo la evaluación de los recursos naturales y culturales presentes en el municipio Batabanó. En función de la investigación se aplicaron métodos y técnicas cualitativas y cuantitativas de recogida de información, que sirven de apoyo para la evaluación. Durante el trabajo se identificaron e inventariaron los recursos y atractivos del territorio, se analizó detalladamente su estado, conservación y valor, y se aplicaron los métodos estadísticos VALPER y el procedimiento TOPSIS. Como resultado final se obtuvo una evaluación de las potencialidades reales del territorio, lo que contribuirá a un mayor aprovechamiento de sus recursos naturales y culturales, mediante la implementación de propuestas turísticas
