Propuesta de uso funcional turístico para la "Quinta Santa Bárbara"

Abstract

Cuban tourism, from the national development plan, includes among its objectives to promote destinations that contain attractive, authentic and representative elements of Cuban culture. One of these spaces is the "Quinta Santa Bárbara", current headquarters of the New Latin American Cinema Foundation, which requires an inventory of natural, socioeconomic and cultural resources, with which it interacts in the territory. The aforementioned situation supported the general objective of this research: to design a proposal for a sustainable tourist functional use for the "Quinta Santa Bárbara". For its compliance, the conditions of said space were first diagnosed, taking into account the infrastructures, tourist services, support services, technical networks, accessibility conditions and necessary human resources. Potential resources were also identified and evaluated, determining their limitations and strengths. Theoretical methods such as the historical-logical, the hypothetical deductive were used during the investigation; and empirical, such as the survey. The final result of the proposal contains the tourist resources of the area and the modalities and activities in which they can be used; as well as the indications, requirements and measures for its implementation, from a sustainable approach.El turismo cubano, desde el plan nacional de desarrollo, contempla entre sus objetivos impulsar destinos que contengan elementos atractivos, auténticos y representativos de la cultura cubana. Uno de estos espacios es la "Quinta Santa Bárbara", actual sede de la Fundación del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano, que precisa la realización de un inventario de los recursos naturales, socioeconómicos y culturales, con los cuales interactúa en el territorio. La situación anteriormente planteada fundamentó el objetivo general de la presente investigación: diseñar una propuesta de uso funcional turístico sostenible para la "Quinta Santa Bárbara". Para su cumplimiento se diagnosticaron primeramente las condiciones de dicho espacio, teniendo en cuenta las infraestructuras, servicios turísticos, servicios de apoyo, redes técnicas, condiciones de accesibilidad y recursos humanos necesarios. También se identificaron y evaluaron los recursos potenciales, determinando sus limitantes y fortalezas. Se utilizaron durante la investigación métodos teóricos como el histórico-lógico, el hipotético deductivo; y empíricos, como la encuesta. El resultado final de la propuesta contiene los recursos turísticos del área y las modalidades y actividades en las que pueden ser aprovechados; así como las indicaciones, requerimientos y medidas para su implementación, desde un enfoque sostenible
