= - 0.579; p = 0.000).The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between stress and the
degree of satisfaction with care in mothers of premature infants attended at Hospital
Belén de Trujillo in the year 2023. For this purpose, a descriptive correlational
design was used. Their sample consisted of 60 mothers of premature infants, to
whom they administered the Modified Maternal Stress Scale and the Questionnaire
on the mother's level of satisfaction with nursing care in the neonatology service.
The findings indicated that 65.0% were between 19 and 30 years of age, 58.3%
were cohabitants, 46.7% were housewives and 50.0% had a high school education.
Likewise, 51.7% presented a low level of stress, 38.3% a medium level and 10.0%
a high level; on the other hand, 48.3% showed a medium degree of satisfaction with
nursing care, 33.3% a low degree and 18.3% a high degree. Finally, from the
application of Spearman's nonparametric correlation test, it was determined that
there is a negative and moderate correlation, as well as a significant correlation
between the main variables under study (Rho = - 0.579; p = 0.000).Tesi
