Transformation(s) as contemporary experience(s) of the pastoral situation in Germany

Abstract

Mit dem Begriff der Transformation werden die sichtbaren Veränderungen in Gesellschaft und Kirche in Deutschlands charakterisiert. Der Beitrag gibt eine Einführung in ein Verständnis von Transformation und zeigt, in welchen (exemplarischen) pastoralen Herausforderungen diese sich konkret zeigen. Es wird verdeutlicht, dass eine Transformation nur über eine innere Haltungsänderung vollzogen werden kann, für die der Aufsatz pastorale Möglichkeiten nennt.The term transformation is used to characterise the visible changes in the society and the church in Germany. The article gives an introduction to an understanding of transformation and shows in which (exemplary) pastoral challenges this is concretely manifested. It is made clear that transformation can only be achieved through an inner change of attitude, for which the article lists pastoral possibilities
