Entre patrimônios e narrativas orais: a trajetória de Tia Neiva e do Vale do Amanhecer em Planaltina - DF (1969 – 2021)

Abstract

Esta tese se propõe a investigar o Movimento Doutrinário e Religioso Vale do Amanhecer (VA), em seus aspectos históricos e culturais, que envolvem sua instituição física e parte de sua formação espiritual. O movimento que se estabeleceu em 1969, na cidade de Planaltina, região administrativa da capital brasileira, Brasília – DF; foi fundado por Tia Neiva (conhecida também por supostamente ter sido a primeira caminhoneira do Brasil), que ao longo dos anos ganhou visibilidade e hodiernamente soma aproximadamente 650 templos espalhados pelos 26 estados brasileiros, bem como em vários países da América Latina, Europa, e na Ásia. Em número de adeptos, essa expressão religiosa possui atualmente aproximadamente 800 mil membros. Para a análise do objeto, no que se referem às fontes, serão utilizadas parte das iconografias da própria instituição, fotografias, imagens, arquivos dos Jornais Correio Braziliense - DF e do Diário de Pernambuco, como também informações encontradas no meio virtual (internet) sobre a temática do Movimento Doutrinário Vale do Amanhecer. Ainda se constituem como fontes, relatos orais que servem como base principalmente nas análises que se farão no sentido de examinar situações cotidianas que envolvem a vida de Tia Neiva e dos membros da doutrina, bem como também utilizaremos processos de registros no IPHAN, teses e dissertações que abordam a temática. Entre os principais conceitos utilizados para embasamento das análises contidas nessa tese, estão os conceitos de Hibridação de Nestor Canclini (1997), o conceito de Representação de Roger Chartier (1991), e as proposições da Escola Italiana de História das Religiões a partir de Adone Agnolin (2019) e de intérpretes brasileiros como Eliane Moura da Silva e Karina Bellotti (2010). A tese é constituída por três capítulos, com uma discussão que tem como objetivo mostrar que a hibridização presente no movimento é a responsável pela visitação, integração e aumento do número de membros e da sua permanência até os dias atuais.This thesis proposes to investigate the Vale do Amanhecer Doctrinal and Religious Movement, in its historical and cultural aspects that involve its physical institution some aspects of its spiritual formation. The movement established in 1969 in the city of Planaltina, administrative region of the Brazilian capital, Brasília - DF. Institution founded by Tia Neiva (also known for supposedly being the first woman truck driver in Brazil) that over the years has gained visibility and currently has approximately 650 temples spread across the 26 Brazilian states, as well as in several countries in Latin America, Europe, and in Asia.In number of adherents, the religious expression has approximately 800,000 members. For the analysis of the object, with regard to the sources, part of the iconographies of the institution itself will be used, photographs, images, archives of the newspapers Correio Braziliense - DF and Diário de Pernambuco, as well as information found in the virtual environment (internet) about the theme of the Doctrinal Movement Vale do Amanhecer, still constitute as sources some oral reports, which serve as a basis mainly in the analyzes that will be made in the sense of examining everyday situations that involve the life of Tia Neiva and the Members of the doctrine, as well as we will also use registration processes at Iphan, theses and dissertations that address the theme. Among the main concepts used to support the analyzes contained in this thesis are the concepts of Hybridization by Nestor Canclini, the concept of Representation by Roger Chartier, and the propositions of the Italian School of History of Religions based on Adone Agnolin and Brazilian interpreters such as Eliane Moura da Silva and Karina Bellotti. The thesis consists of three chapters, a discussion that aims to show that the hybridization present in the movement is responsible for the visitation, integration and increase in the number of members and their permanence until the present day
