Fraternal organizations, such as the Grange, IOOF and Masons, formed for the socially active residents of Broad Ripple. The IOOF building housed the group, a drug store and post office. The building was also home to Lobraico’s Pharmacy from 1925 until 1990. Mustard Hall, built as a Masonic lodge in 1907, maintained lodge activities and a room for the Women’s Christian Temperance Union. Over the years it was also home to a grocery, a bank and a library. Both buildings are in commercial use today
