Revisión crítica del concepto homoparentalidad y comaternalidad

Abstract

Procesos sociales, culturales y políticos dieron lugar a la visibilización de las configuraciones familiares de las personas gays y lesbianas, siendo la Ley de Matrimonio Igualitario en Argentina, uno de los logros obtenidos. Pero este proceso aún no está acabado, por ello es necesario preguntarnos por la inclusión social de las familias “homoparentales” y “comaternales”. El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar y reflexionar sobre las configuraciones familiares homoparentales y comaternales, a través del estudio teórico de investigaciones de divulgación científica, para indagar sobre los alcances y límites de estos términos y conocer los múltiples abordajes de la temática. De esta forma se busca describir teóricamente estos conceptos, exponer las perspectivas teóricas de las investigaciones y presentar los principales temas que abordan. Para ello se realizó una revisión sistemática de los términos homoparentalidad y comaternalidad a través de una metodología cualitativa con una muestra de 20 estudios. Se concluye con una reflexión crítica de estos conceptos, dando cuenta de que, si bien buscan apuntar a la construcción de la visibilidad de estas configuraciones familiares, poseen límites a partir de los posibles sesgos patriarcales, heteronormativos y patologizantes. Se reflexiona sobre el rol de la psicología como herramienta posibilitadora del cambio social.Social, cultural and political processes led to the visibility of family configurations of gay and lesbian people, being the Law of Equal Marriage in Argentina, one of the achievements. But this process is not yet finished, so it is necessary to ask about the social inclusion of "homoparentals" and "comaternals" families. The objective of this research is to analyze and reflect on homoparentals and comaternals family configurations, through the theoretical study of scientific dissemination research, to inquire about the scope and limits of these terms and to know the multiple approaches of the subject. In this way, we seek to describe these concepts theoretically, expose the theoretical perspectives of the research and present the main topics they address. To do this, a systematic review of the terms "homoparentality" and " co-maternity" was carried out through a qualitative methodology with a sample of 20 studies. It concludes with a critical reflection of these concepts, realizing that, although they seek to point to the construction of the visibility of these family configurations, they have limits based on possible patriarchal, heteronormative and pathological biases.
