Preventive Action of Municipal Police in Elementary Schools

Abstract

V současné době je určitě prevence kriminality a sociálně patologických jevů v popředí zájmu celé společnosti a není divu. Stále více dětí, a to již od útlého věku, proniká do virtuálního světa. S tím jsou samozřejmě spojena i mnohá nebezpečí, která je zde mohou čekat. I v ostatních oblastech dnešního života se ovšem mohou děti setkat s kriminálním prostředím. Ať už jsou to drogy, šikana ve škole, nebo nebezpečí spojená s účastí v silničním provozu. Proto je potřeba vysvětlit jim tyto pojmy, obeznámit je s riziky a poskytnout jim návod, jak se v daných situacích zachovat. Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje prevenci kriminality u dětí na prvním stupni základní školy - zjištění preventivního programu na škole, spolupráci s Městskou policií a také tomu, jak tyto přednášky působí na žáky. Cílem je zhodnotit preventivní program školy a navrhnout možné postupy a oblasti, ve kterých je třeba zvýšení efektivity preventivně výchovné činnosti. Práce obsahuje část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se věnuje uvedení do problematiky, vysvětlení některých základních pojmů s tématem spojených a seznámení s preventivní činností Městské policie na základních školách. V praktické části je provedeno zhodnocení anonymního dotazníkového šetření. Je z něj patrné, ve kterých oblastech prevence mají žáci nejnižší znalosti i které oblasti žáky zajímají nejvíce. V závislosti na jeho výsledcích je navrženo, jakým směrem by se měly další přednášky ubírat. Závěrem je zhodnocena úroveň prevence kriminality na školách a je nastíněno několik možností, jak by se situace mohla změnit.At present time it is certain that the prevention of crime and social pathological phenomena is in the limelight of the whole society. And it is no wonder. Again and again the children´s interest, already from an early age, proceeds to penetration into virtual world. To such situation there are naturally connected numerous risks, which may exist here. However, as well as in other spheres children may encounter the criminal environment. Either there are drugs, harassment at school or the risks connected to participation in road traffic. Therefore it is necessary to explain them such concepts, to familiarize them with the risks and to provide them with instructions how to conduct in the given situations. This bachelor´s work devotes to the crime prevention for children at the first stage of basic school, the prevention program findings at school and cooperation with the Municipal police and also how such lectures influence on pupils. The aim is to evaluate the school preventive program and to propose possible procedures and areas, where it is necessary to increase the effectiveness of the preventive educational activities. The work consists of the theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical one devotes to introduction to problems, explanation of some principal concepts connected to the topic and to familiarization with the preventive activities of the Municipal police at basic schools. In the practical part there is performed the evaluation of the anonymous questionnaire research. From which it is obvious, in what prevention areas the pupils have the worst knowledge and what areas are the most interesting for them. In dependence on the results it is proposed in what direction the next lectures should proceed. In conclusion there is evaluated the crime prevention level at schools and are outlined the possibilities how the situation could be changed
