Éthique professionnelle et activité médicale: une analyse en termes de conventions

Abstract

This article is an attempt to explain professional ethics in the health sector. On the one hand, the scope and limitations of the traditional approach are examined. In this analysis, professional ethics is reduced to a constraint or an incentive contract. On the other hand, it should be stressed that the so called "economics of conventions" is a judicious approach to explain professional ethics. This article studies the cognitive and emotive contents of this convention.ethics;profession;medicine;conventions.
