Local Name: Gökgölet Deresi / Kocadere, AtaeymirLocal Information: The conduit is located on the west (left) bank of the Kocadere (also called the Gökgölet Deresi in this location), a tributary of the Morsynus river. It is situated 4.2 km south of the modern town of Ataeymir and 5.6 km southeast of Aphrodisias.Latitude: 37.40.09.231Longitude: 28.45.49.578Elevation: 601.713mDimensions: Interior H (approximate): 1 m ** Interior W (approximate): 0.5 m ** Th (side walls) (approximate): 0.2 m ** p. L (approximate): 10 mDescription: Preservation: The conduit is visible where the west (left) bank of the dere has eroded, leaving the conduit exposed. A portion of the conduit has collapsed so that a cross section is visible. ** Construction: The conduit is constructed of mortared rubble masonry. It is built of unworked fieldstones of varying sizes and has a flat roof. ** Description: The conduit is approximately 1 m high and 0.7 m wide internally, with side walls approximately 0.2 m thick. It is situated several meters above the modern streambed and below the ground level above and is preserved to an approximate length of 10 m
