In March 1913, floods devastated towns and cities in Indiana and Ohio. In Indiana, the Ohio, Wabash, and White rivers overflowed their banks beginning 23 March. Residents throughout the state were evacuated. The floods killed at least 200 people and made another 20,000 homeless across the state
