Abstract

An essay for the catalogue accompanying the exhibition of work by Martin Creed, held at the Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, September 24 - November 16, 2008. The exhibition subsequently travelled to Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art, Japan, May 23 - July 20, 2009, and Artsonje, Seoul, South Korea, November 12, 2009 - February 12, 2010. On each occasion the essay appeared in a new catalogue published in Japanese and Korean respectively
