La Relación entre la Docencia y la Investigación Según la Opinión del Profesorado Universitario

Abstract

AbstractThis study was conducted at the University of Girona. Our goal was to find out how the teachers assessed themselves as teachers, researchers and their conception regarding the teaching-research nexus. An ad-hoc questionnaire was developed and 259 responses were obtained. We conclude that the teachers who show greater preference for the research are the male teachers, those who work in the Science and Technology department and the younger members of staff. Finally, we suggest improving the teaching-research nexus
