Languages for monoidal categories

Abstract

AbstractProofs of propositions about ordinary categories, e.g. the Yoneda Lemma, may often be reinterpreted to yield proofs of the equivalent propositions about enriched categories, without recourse to diagram-chasing. Elements of the homset are replaced by variables of the hom-type. The language may also be used to lift definitions to the enriched context in a natural way, e.g., natural transformation, strong monic
