Abstract

AbstractReal-time detection of protein binding has been achieved using an impedimetric technique. The fabricated chips boasting interdigitated gold microelectrodes were docked into a microfluidic cell with a sample injection system to guarantee good performance, repeatability and flow injection analysis. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was carried out to characterize the surface and its response to protein binding using label-free direct capture assays [1].
