Effect of L-asparaginase on retention of maze learning in mice

Abstract

Long-term memory impairment has been described previously in mice receiving inhibitors of protein synthesis. In the present work, the enzyme L-asparaginase was injected into mice by an intrathecal or by an intraperitoneal route and produced a significant impairment of memory.
