Abstract

Recently, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are acquiring relative importance in the Philippine economic setting. In the light of the need for product flexibility to be globally competitive, it has been observed that SMEs are likely to deliver exactly just that. Gathering from the promotion activities of Asian countries such as Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia and Japan, this issue comes up with important measures that will develop/modernize the Philippines SMEs.institutional structure, industrial extension system, subcontracting, small and medium enterprises
