Frequentist properties of a Bayesian analog to Fabian's bound

By Ping Sa and Don Edwards

Abstract

Fabian proposed a confidence upper bound for the distance of the selected treatment's mean to "the best". We consider a Bayesian approach to Fabian's problem. We derive some properties of the Bayesian approach and compare it with other methods by simulation.Ranking and selection Confidence upper bound Fabian's bound Bayesian methods
