Current mode simulation of lossless floating inductance

Abstract

A simple circuit for a lossless floating inductor is described. The circuit is designed using the current conveyor IC ADD 844; it is composed of three current conveyors and three passive components. The circuit avoids the use of matched components. It features grounded resistor control as well as a grounded capacitor. Experimental and simulation results are included to support the theoretical conclusion. © 1997 Taylor & Francis Ltd.IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Societ
