A Hypothesis on Complex of Tropical and Extratropical Cyclones for Typhoon in Middle Latitudes. V. Accompanying Extratropical Cyclone of Muroto Typhoon

Abstract

Being analyzed Muroto Typhoon into three components or main vortex, secondary vortex and accompanying extratropical cyclone, the life cycle of this typhoon is obtained. The accompanying cyclone is realized, by superimposing the front of the surface map upon the pressure pattern in the residual field, in which the fields of main and secondary vortices are removed. It can be found that the accompanying cyclone was formed on the preexisting stationary front within the typhoon area and that the cyclone exhibited same aspects as regular extratropical cyclone
