One Photograph - Life on the Floor

Abstract

'One Photograph' is published in the journal 'Photography and Culture' and asks writers, artists and historians to write about one photograph that has significance for them. Previous contributors have included David Chandler and Simon Watney. My piece for One Photograph is titled 'Life on the Floor' and in this I respond to an image from the 1970s by photographer Dave Walkling
