Borgo_clima: energetic and environmental retrofitting of the historic fabric

Abstract

The substantial differences between the historical building heritage and the broader non-historical existing stock require looking for a targeted approach to its energy evaluation and retrofitting. The paper presents the elaboration of a fast and simple energy assessment tool, applied on a case study: the historical town of Caporciano. Strategic actions have been defined to improve the energy performance of the whole urban settlement, according to the different degrees of interventions and refurbishment and preservation requirements
