Autotransplantation of frozen-thawed ovarian tissue in a young woman: ultrastructure and viability of grafted tissue.

Abstract

This is the first report of the presence of ultrastructurally normal primordial and primary follicles, 13 months after autotransplantation of frozen-thawed human ovarian tissue. The stroma contained numerous viable and ultrastructurally normal blood vessels but showed poor cellular density. © 2008 American Society for Reproductive Medicine
