Positive thoughts

Abstract

Selected by an independent panel and supported by the Arts Council. 'Positive Thoughts' was a 6 week exhibition of collages and paintings held at the Ropewalk Gallery. The exhibition presented a collection of 2D art works that provided an examination of the evolution of the artists current practice. Although the majority of the work in the exhibition had been created in 2005/6 specifically for the venue, there were a couple of 'historical examples including; an abstract oil painting from 1986 and a large b&w silk screen print from 1997
