Projeto Orquestra Escola

Abstract

Programa de Pós-Graduação em EducaçãoA partir da convivência com os integrantes do Projeto Orquestra Escola - projeto social de educação através de um grupo musical - a Orquestra Sinfônica Juvenil - em Florianópolis/SC, desenvolveu-se uma pesquisa qualitativa de caráter etnográfico, a qual procurou analisar os aspectos do fazer musical do ponto de vista pedagógico deste projeto, envolvendo a formação de crianças e jovens numa prática social cotidiana. Foi feita uma análise de como esses aspectos se manifestam nas relações sociais dos integrantes do grupo, suas interações e conflitos. Nas atividades observadas e falas dos estudantes, no ambiente coletivo do grupo musical, a pesquisa procurou verificar como esse projeto denominado socioeducativo pode oferecer possibilidades de promoção ou construção de um ambiente de educação, arte, música e diferentes práticas sociais. Procurou-se investigar que implicações isso pode ter na vida dos estudantes envolvidos. A pesquisa tem como referencial teórico a concepção de educação musical e o fazer musical como uma prática social que é um direito de todos (FIGUEIREDO, 2010; PENNA, 2008; FIGUEIREDO; SCHMIDT, 2008; SOUZA, 2008). Esse tipo de ensino musical que ocorre nos projetos sociais que trabalham a música também é visto como um meio de inserção social onde o fazer musical é "eixo-aglutinador" (KLEBER, 2006) e através das interações entre os sujeitos (VIGOTSKI, 2010) promove o seu desenvolvimento educacional, social e artístico.By the observation of the interaction with members of the Projeto Orquestra Escola - social project of education through a music group know as Orquestra Sinfônica Juvenil from Florianópolis city we developed a case study, an ethnographic research which sought to analyze the aspects of music making by the pedagogical point of view mediated by this project, involving the formation of children and young people in daily social practice. The objective was to make an analysis of how these aspects are configured in the relations between group members, their interactions and conflicts. The students' activities and speeches observed in the collective environment of the musical group the research aimed to analyze how this childcare project can offer opportunities for promotion or building of an environment of education, art, music and different social practices. It seeks to investigate what implications this project can have on the lives of the students involved. The theoretical conception of this research is music education and music making as a social practice that is a social right for all (PENNA, 2008, FIGUEIREDO; SCHMIDT, 2008; SOUZA, 2008). This kind of musical education that occurs in social work with music is also seen as a means of social integration where music making is "axis-theme" (KLEBER, 2006) and through interactions between individuals (VIGOTSKI, 2010) promotes its educational, social and artistic development
