SISTEMA DE GERÊNCIA DE REDES LOCAIS BASEADO NA PROPOSTA MAP

Abstract

Este trabalho apresenta o projeto e a implementação de um Sistema de Gerência para Redes Locais baseado na proposta MAP da General Motors. O Sistema de Gerência é direcionado às camadas 1 e 2 do modelo OSI / ISO e é dividido em quatro Gerentes de Aplicação: Gerente de Configuração; Gerente de Desempenho; Gerente de Falhas e Processador de Eventos. As funções principais do Sistema são controle do estado das estações, configuração de parâmetros e coleção de estatísticas.This work presents the project and the development of a Management System for Local Networks based on the MAP proposal of General Motors. The Management System is applied to the layers 1 and 2 of OSI / ISO model, and is divided in four Management Applications: Configuration Management; Performance Management; Fault Management and Event Processing.
