Abstract

Nesta pesquisa de mestrado, analisamos discursivamente como os políticos brasileiros são tornados em derrisão pela mídia impressa. Com base nos pressupostos teóricometodológicos da Análise do Discurso de orientação francesa, trabalhamos mais especificamente com o gênero discursivo charge. Trata-se de charge veiculada pelo jornal Folha de S. Paulo durante os últimos três mandatos presidenciais (1998, 2002 e 2006) e que deram a circular imagens derrisórias do então presidente Fernando Henrique Cardoso e do atual presidente Luís Inácio Lula da Silva. Metodologicamente trabalhamos no batimento descrição/interpretação (Pêcheux, 1993), evidenciando como os acontecimentos históricos em que FHC e Lula eram protagonistas foram transformados pela mídia impressa em acontecimentos discursivos derrisórios. Trata-se de um trabalho relevante, visto que contribui por um lado para uma compreensão mais refinada do papel do gênero charge na nossa sociedade e das categorias analíticas derrisão e acontecimento discursivo.In this master‟s research, we analyze discursively as Brazilian political be made in derision in the print media.
