Lingüística aplicada e ensino de gramática em língua materna : o processo de diagnóstico em uma quarta série

Abstract

Esta dissertação visa a apresentar os resultados de análise de parte dos dados coletados no projeto de pesquisa etnográfica em Lingüística Aplicada, desenvolvido pelo Departamento de Letras Vernáculas e Clássicas da Universidade Estadual de Londrina, coordenado pela professora Doutora Alba Maria Perfeito e intitulado Escrita e ensino gramatical: um novo olhar para um velho problema. Com a análise dos dados coletados em uma quarta série do ensino fundamental de uma escola pública da cidade de Londrina, estado do Paraná, pudemos verificar como se dá o processo de ensino/aprendizagem de Língua Portuguesa e, dentro dele, o de ensino gramatical. Conforme a teoria sócio-interacionista de linguagem, o texto deve ser o centro do referido processo e seu estudo precisa abranger as três práticas interdependentes: leitura, análise lingüística, incluída aqui a gramática, e produção textual. Com este olhar, descreveremos e analisaremos os procedimentos teórico-metodológicos utilizados pela sujeito-professora em questão.This paper seeks to present the results of the analysis of part of data collected in the project of etnographic research in Applied Linguistics, developed by the Department of Vernacular and Classic Letters of the State University of Londrina, coordinated by the teacher Alba Maria Perfeito and entitled Writing and grammatical teaching: a new look for an old problem. With the analysis of the data collected in a fourth series of the fundamental teaching of a public school of the city of Londrina, state of Paraná, we could verify as the process of teaching/learning of Portuguese Language takes place and, inside it, the one of grammatical teaching. According to the social-interacionist theory of language, the text should be the center of that process and its study needs to embrace the three interdependent practices: reading, linguistic analysis, including grammar here, and textual production. With this glance, we will describe and we will analyze the theoretical-methodological procedures used by the subject-teacher in focus
