Abstract

Harrison discusses the additional Ohio militia men Meigs ordered mustered and the fact that he does not have need of them currently. He reports that Indians attacked a party of officers near Fort Meigs and held Ensign Hackett prisoner until the Delaware Indians with the party rescued him.Meigs, Return Jonathan, 1740-182
