A little girl braves the hot sun riding a tricycle in the Farmer's Day Parade during the 1940 State Fair. Her tricycle is decorated with streamers, an umbrella to protect her from the sun, and two white roosters ride on the handle-bars. The "Willkie" sign on the handlebars tells us this is an election year
