The Executive Board of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America posed for this group portrait in 1929. A check of the city directory lists the organization at 222 East Michigan Street in Indianapolis. The officers, listed in the city directory, were William L. Hutcheson, general president; John T. Cosgrove, general vice president; George H. Lakey, general vice president; and Frank Duffy, general secretary; and Thomas Neale, general treasurer.This image is a preservation copy made from an unstable original nitrate negative.
