Wedding of Samuel and Cecelia Theodos

Abstract

Samuel and Cecelia Theodos were photographed for their wedding by Charles Bretzman in 1927. Seen here are the bride and groom. The customer card lists Mr. Theodos at 1138 W. Harrison in Chicago, Illinois. The order was taken in c/o John Velonis in Indianapolis. A check of the 1930 census record three years later shows the Theodos couple were both from Greece and were living in Chicago at the same address. The couple had a 2 year old son by that time and Samuel's brother Thomas was living with them also.This image is a preservation copy made from an unstable original nitrate negative. The image is part of Series III
