Abstract

Thomas A. Hendricks was raised in Shelbyville, Indiana. He held state offices and served as a U.S. congressman and senator, and was governor of Indiana from 1873-1877. He was vice president for Grover Cleveland, but died after only 8 months in office in 1885.Shelby County Journe
