Elkhart County Courthouse

Abstract

This Renaissance Revival edifice was built 1868-1871 and designed by J.H. Barrows & George O. Garnsey. Patton & Miller remodeled it in 1909 by lengthening the main structure at both ends and placing a new domed tower over the center of the building.Below the illustration it states the building was erected in 1869 & 70 and cost $125,000.Destination Indiana Elkhart County Journe
