The Relationship between Shoot Vigor and Inflorescence Differentiation in 'Honey Red' grapevines

Abstract

本研究係調查'蜜紅7(Vitis venifera L. × Vitis labrusca L. cv. Honey Red)葡萄嫁接株之不同強度枝梢、不同節位與芽體內花穗原基分化。由調查結果可知,強梢花穗原基之分化較弱梢早、花穗原基大且數量多。不同強度枝梢之花穗原基於當年8月前,花穗原基已分化至stage7 階段。翌年萌芽前,弱梢芽體內花穗原基大小已逐漸與強梢無明顯差異。由枝梢不同部位芽體花穗原基發育觀察中,初期以下部位創始較早,6至8月枝梢中部位與上部位芽體之花穗原基會增加且較下部位花穗原基大。翌年萌芽前,不同枝梢皆以中部位及上部位花穗原基較多、較大,而花穗原基在此時尚未分化出小花器。The inflorescence differentiation of bud in different position of different vigorous shoots in ‘Honey Red'(Vitis venifera L. x Vitis labrusca L.) grapevine were investigated in this experiment. Results was shown that the inflorescence differentiation of strong shoot was not only earlier than that of weak shoot, but also bigger and more. Inflorescence differentiation reached to stage 7 during August and September, there was not significant difference in size between strong and weak shoots just before budbreak in the next year. From the observation of the inflorescence differentiation in different bud position of shoot, it appeared that the time of inflorescence initiation in lower part buds were earlier, but the percentage of inflorescence differentiation in middle and upper buds showed higher and bigger than that of the lower buds during June and Augusrt
