Effects of activated charcoal on plantlet quality of Phalaenopsis and components of the gaseous environment in vitro

Abstract

本試驗主要探討培養基中添加不同濃度活性碳對蝴蝶蘭瓶苗生長及氣體組成成分的影響。瓶苗經繼代第40天後生長速率上有顯著差異,lg/l的活性碳添加可以增加葉片生長,葉長及葉寬分別達28.7mm及l5.4mm,並促進發根數達6.2條,根部活性可達4.04 ODA480/gF.W﹒,而2g/l活性碳則會抑制植物的生長,此外活性碳皆會抑制根的伸長。在氣體組成上,瓶內乙烯及二氧化碳的含量皆會隨活性碳濃度而提高,瓶內亦偵測出有甲烷的存在。The study was to seek effects of activated charcoal on Phalaenopsis plantlet growth and components of the gaseous environment in vitro. Plantlet had different growth rate at 40 days after subculture. 1 g/l activated charcoal can increase growth leaf length to 28.7 mm and width to 15.4 mm, respectively. Root number also promoted to 6.2 and root activity gave 4.04 ODA480/g F.W, but it inhibited root elongation, and 2 g/l activated charcoal inhibited p;antlet growth. Compare the components of the gaseous environment in vitro, ethylene and dioxide carbon content in flask increased accompanied with activated charcoal concentration.
