Rotary cutting of metal

Abstract

In this work technological process of size mechanical machine parts working by means of rotary cutting is investigated. The purpose of this investigation is to increase efficiency of size mechanical machine parts working by means of developing scientifically-substantiated engineering and technological designs of rotary metal cutting improvement. The mechanism of rotary cutting has been established; the technologies of size mechanical working have been scientifically substantiated. There has been developed a physical and a mathematical model of the process. There have been revealed the laws, having more general character in relation to traditional cutting. The design methods of geometric, kinematic and force characteristics of rotary tools work have been developed. There have been created and introduced new technologies of blade working and rotary tools, increasing the machine-building production efficiency. The new methods of defining main characteristics and parameters, providing scientifically substantiated improvement and use of rotary cutting have been developed.
