Interdependence of reducing process variables of blast-furnace smelting at combined blast under modern conditions

Abstract

There the purposes are to analyse the interdependence of reducing process variables of blast-furnace smelting at the combined blast under the modern conditions, to improve the design methods of blast-furnace process indicators on the basis of obtained dependences. The blast-furnace smelting distinctions at the combined blast depending on the achieved level of evolution of reducing processes have been brought out. The interdependence between the flow rate of blast oxygen and the use degree of reducing ability of gases has been determined and has been studied. The determination method of momentary consumption of coke has been developed. The formula describing the interdependence between the evolution indicators of reducing processes of blast-furnace smelting and the coke consumption has been proposed; its application is expedient for the control of blast-furnace smelting rate. The determination method of theoretical combustion temperature of fuel ahead of blast furnace tuyeres has been developed. The introduction subject is the use of developed formulae and of developed diagrams at the teaching of educational disciplines according to 11.01 "Metallurgy of Ferrous Metals" speciality. The application field is the blast-furnace productionAvailable from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
