The pressing of bars, pipes and wire from compact and powder materials, the band and screw section rolling was studied. An expression for lubricating layer theckness determination was obtained and a mechanism of overpressure formation during the hydropressing was suggested. New methods of pressing with local deformation seat were suggested. The process of rolling in type mills and longitudinal rolling of screw sections were studied theoreticaly. New effective methods and devices for hydropressing were developed. New apparatus for pipes, bimetall wire and metal powder pipe pressing with local deformation seat were developed. New methods of rolling in type mills and longitudinal rolling of screw sections were obtained.
