Abstract

The object of investigation: the transient processes in the nuclear energy-motor plant (NEMP). The purpose of the work: the numerical modeling of the transient processes in the active zone of the CNEMP reactor with the main specific features adherent to these plants accounted for. The algorithm and the design program of the transient processes in the NEMP reactor have been developed. The series of experiments on the model electrically-heated stand have been performed for the verification of the developed design code. The developed methods have been used when developing the CNEMP conception for the piloted martian complex. The methods of the working body mass reduction intended for the CNEMP cooling have been offered.
