DEVELOPMENT AND INVESTIGATION OF LINEAR MOVEMENT SPEED STABILIZATION SYSTEMS FOR MAGNETIC INFORMATION CARRIERS IN TAPE DRIVES (TD)

Abstract

The linear movement speed stabilization systems for magnetic information carrier in TD the novelty of which has been confirmed by three author's certificates of USSR have been developed. The mathematical description has been obtained, and the analytical approach to the investigation of the stability in the "small" of the linearized stabilization system has been proposed. The totality of the methods and structures realizing them and providing the stabilization of both the average linear speed and instantenous one has been developed so that its instability is decreased from 30 to 3% from nominal value and the twice recording time increase is achieved without change of the magnetic carrier length. The investigation results have been applied in the Kiev Scientific-Production Association "Elektronpribor" at development of the flight data recorder variant of "Tester-U3" typeAvailable from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
