SYNTHESIS AND PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF ALUMO- AND BOROHYDRIDES IN ALKALI METALS

Abstract

The investigation objects are LiAlH*004, NaAlH*004, Ho(BH*004)*003, LiBH*004, AlH*003, Al*002(B*006C*002H*001*001)*003, LiAl(B*009C*002H*001*001)*002. The aim is to investigate and develop the procedures of making and to study the physical-chemical properties and reactions of the boro- and alumohydrides in alkali metals. The alumo- and borohydrides of metals have been synthesized at solid-phase mechanical-chemical activation. The synthesis of the aluminium and boron hydride compounds has been substantiated from positions of the physical-chemical analysis permitted to reveal the direction and transformations during chemical reactions.
