Saccharoalcohols (polyols) as indicators of interrelations character between the incitants of rust diseases of wheat plants

Abstract

The object of investigation: the isolates of fungus Puccinia graminis Persc.sp.tririci Eriks.B.Henn Puccinia persistens Plowr t.sp.tritici Eriks. The work is aimed at developing the express-method of estimation of the wheat plants resistance to the incitants of the rust fungi, on the content of the specific carbohydrates in the plant tissue. The analysis of the carbohydrate composition of the rust fungi and infected plants uredospores has been performed. The dynamics of the carbohydrates accumulation in the infected plants has been studied. The express-method of determination of plant saccharose and specific fungous metabolites has been developed. The method of the quantitative analysis of the carbohydrates in the infected leaves has been offered for determination of the resistance of the grades to the rust, and estimation of the fungicide action.
