Landscape-genetic reasons for rational use of upper swamps

Abstract

The upper swamps of various origin-natural, broken, dried for peat mining and other purposes - were invvstigated with the aim of study of the regularities of the upper swamps transformation caused by the anthropogenic influence as well as at the detection of natural reasons for their rational use. As a result the regularities of the upper swamps transformation were detected and their landscape-genetic classification was elaborated. The natural reasons for the rational use and restoration of the oligotrophic systems were determined. The results obtained may be used in the R8cD works on the rational use of the upper swamps and in the development of the territorial complex programmes for nature protection. They may also be used in the ecological monitoringAvailable from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
