Radiation-stimulated processes in crystals of y_2o_3(sc_2o_3)-sio_2 system

The paper is concerned with monocrystals of yttrium oxides, oxiortho-and pyrosilicates of yttrium and scandium, zirconium polycrystals. The aim of the paper is to investigate the spectral-luminescent characteristics of the elemental electron excitations, their role in the radiation defect-generation in crystals of Y_2O_3(Sc_2O_3)-SiO_2 system. The subthreshold growth of radiation-induced defects based on the non-radiation decay of electronic excitations has been established in the double crystals of Y_2O_3(Sc_2O3)-SiO_2.
