The nature investigation of metastable states in non-ordered alloys on the base of a - Si:H is the aim of the paper as well as the choice of effective methods of the temperature and time stabilization of their protoelectric characteristics on this base. As a result models of the a - Si:H film microstructure and energy spectrum of a charge have been developed. The methodology and devices for the complex investigation of properties of non-ordered materials and methods for the increase of the stability of their parameters have been elaborated. The investigation results have been used in the manufacturing of phototensitive sensors and programmed elements of permanent storage schemes.
