INVESTIGATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF PIEZOELECTRIC CERAMICS NONDESTRUCTIVE CONTROL METHOD BASED ON VISUALIZATION OF ACOUSTIC FIELDS WITH THE HELP OF LIQUID-CRYSTAL DETECTOR

Abstract

Subject of investigation: piezoelectric ceramic elements and other solid bodies producing sound. Experimental investigation was accomplished. Substantiation is given to the development and a new effective method is implemented for determining parameters of solid bodies (on the example of piezoelectric ceramics) on the basis of visualization of their near acoustic fields in the air. An experimental unit is developed and created. Condition are determined for the visualization. A method is developed for a nondestructive control of piezoelectric ceramics and laminar structural materials. The results of the work are being used at some plantsAvailable from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
